"1% Solution"

I have never made illustrational or decorative artworks. Through my paintings I have functioned as a witness to contemporary events and history. Living during the new Gilded Age motivated me to make this painting. Notice how the impossible mansion is built on shifting sand. As with most of my titles, “1% Solution” could be interpreted in more than one way.
